Self-service pipelines with less infrastructure
MTN Rwanda, a long-time LigaData customer, upgraded its existing Telecom Data Fabric to the 4.0 release so internal teams could build and maintain pipelines faster while lowering the infrastructure required to process existing data volumes.
Challenge
MTN Rwanda wanted its own teams to create and maintain data pipelines more rapidly. At the same time, the operator needed greater pipeline performance with fewer hardware resources to reduce total cost of ownership and leave capacity for future workloads.

Results
The upgraded platform delivers at least twice the previous performance, reducing hardware requirements and creating headroom for future workloads. Nearly 90% of hundreds of existing pipelines were upgraded automatically; the remaining conversions took only a few days. Automated lineage now helps teams identify data-quality problems, debug them rapidly, and avoid SLA violations.
